According to revered Ghanaian television host Afia Pokuaa professionally known as Vim Lady in an instagram post, Dancehall act Stonebwoy has not been celebrated enough.
Her comment comes as a backlash to those who heavily trolled the Ghanaian museum for not getting a slot for his own projects on the 66th Grammy Awards nominations list.
According to her, even if Stonebwoy did not receive a nomination for this year’s Grammy Awards, he still hasn’t been celebrated enough in the Ghanaian music industry looking at his international performances putting Ghana on the global entertainment conversation table.
Also she concluded by pleading with Stonebwoy to wear a Kente suit in his next international performance with reference to his outfit for his performance at Angelique Kidjo’s 40th anniversary in music concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Grammy or no Grammy Stonebwoy has been consistent in aggressively marketing Ghana around the world. He is not being celebrated enough. We need to make him and a few others the brand ambassadors for Ghana. I beg Stone, next time use the ewe kente for your clothes. Some of us see your vision and we will always support you.
