Ghanaian singer and songwriter Kuami Eugene has achieved a remarkable feat with his third studio album, Love and Chaos, which was released on October 12, 2023. The album has surpassed 25 million streams on Boomplay, the leading music streaming platform in Africa, making it one of the most successful albums of the year.
Love and Chaos is a 13-track album that showcases Kuami Eugene’s versatility and talent as an Afropop artist. The album features collaborations with Nigerian-American actor and singer Rotimi, Nigerian singer Guchi, Nigerian producer Magixx, British rapper Weezy, and British-Ghanaian rapper BackRoad Gee. The album explores themes of love, lust, faith, and success, with catchy melodies and lyrics that resonate with listeners across the continent and beyond.
Some of the standout tracks on the album include Rags to Riches, a motivational song that reflects on Kuami Eugene’s journey from humble beginnings to stardom; Cryptocurrency, a dancehall-infused banger that features Rotimi; Abena, a heartfelt ballad that expresses regret over a lost love; and Anyway, a rap-driven track that features Weezy and BackRoad Gee.
Kuami Eugene, who is also known as the Rockstar, has been one of the leading figures in the Ghanaian music industry since his debut in 2016.
