I Started Music Production At Age 17 In My Mother’s Kitchen – Kuami Eugene Explains

Ghanaian songwriter, highlife/afrobeats singer, record producer and Lynx Entertainment/Empire Distribution signee Eugene Kwame Marfo has in an interview shed more light on his past.

In a conversation with Ghanaian TV presenter, Berla Mundi on TV3 Ghana’s the Day Show, Kuami Eugene revealed that even though his name came into limelight in his mid 20’s, he originally started music production in his teenage.

According to the multitalented singer, at the age of 17, he converted his mothers kitchen into a recording studio which forced his mother to cooked outside and allowed him the space to chase his dreams.

He proceeded to say the studio led him into making great records at early stage of his career including producing for Wutah and several other big names in the music industry at the age of 17.

The interview which has trended over the past week on social media for some claims the singer made, can be found on the social media walls of TV3 Ghana.
