Ghanaian singer and TikTok star Afua Asantewaa Aduonum known in fame space as Asantewaa is set to attempt breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.
Her application to attempt this record had been accepted by Guinness World Records, and Asantewaa will perform non-stop from December 24-27 in Accra,Ghana.
The young singer and entrepreneur is aimed at singing for over 117 hours continuously, surpassing the current record hold Sunil Waghmare of India who performed 105 hours nonstops.
Asantewaa’s ambition is to push further the Ghanaian music global-wise,exhibiting the various genres;gospel,hip life and highlife.To accomplish this,She has to sing over 3,200 different songs repetition free,while cling to strict guidelines set by Guinness World Records. To make the attempt challenging and exhausting ,each song must be performed within a time period.
