“I’m Humbled By The Recognition” – Amerado Expresses As His Song Was Played At 67th Independence Parade

Amerado Burner, the Ghanaian rap sensation, formerly known as Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, is filled with pride and joy as his song steals the spotlight at the recently concluded 67th Independence anniversary celebration.

Following the utilization of his hit track titled ‘Kweku Anase’ as the official entrance anthem for none other than President Akufo-Addo, Amerado Burner achieves a significant milestone in his career.

During the Independence anniversary festivities in Koforidua on March 6, 2024, the sensational hit served as the background melody for President Akufo-Addo’s grand entrance.

In an interview with Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Entertainment 360 last Saturday, Amerado shared his joy at having his song featured at such a prestigious occasion, expressing gratitude for the privilege. The rapper underscored the honor it is to witness his craft contributing to a moment of national significance.

“I’m very grateful to the organisers of the Independence anniversary, this is a massive show of love to me and I’m highly indebted.

There are a lot of songs making great waves in Ghanaian music but for my song to be played at the apex of the nation’s gathering is huge and I’m humbled. This means I should keep up the good work,” Amerado said.
